| “ | Now then, this won't hurt a bit. It'll hurt a lot! | „ |
| ~ Professor Kindly's most infamous quote. |
Professor Kindly is the main antagonist of the Moville Mysteries episode "The Day Rico Became Smart". He's a scientist who's the head of the theoretical physics lab at some unnamed university planning to steal Rico's ideas and has a history of cutting out people's brains, such as his rivals, with his brain harvester.
He was voiced by Patrick Hickey Jr., who also voiced The Yellow Rabbit in Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit, and D'Ken in X-Men: The Animated Series.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He killed his rivals (very clearly even more if his mantel is any indication, meaning he killed other people besides his rivals out of sadism, and we can also see some figures which means he may have experimented on animals) by extracting their brains while they are fully conscious, and putting them in jars and then stole their ideas all out of envy and greed. One such example was Dr. Zitmeyer, showing his brain to Rico, telling him that he was searching for a cure of acne until his research suddenly stopped, clearly meaning Kindly murdered him and likely stole his ideas.
- When Rico noticed this, Kindly then strapped him in a chair and attempted to cut his brain out of pure sadism, while also psychologically tormenting him when Rico said he had no idea for profit, by saying he is not so smart after all. Than attempting to cut out his brain by saying it won't hurt a bit, but a lot, until Mo came to stop him.
- Even after Rico is rescued, Kindly still plans to profit off of his cold fusion thesis.
- While he has some comedic moments, such as him saying his car runs on tap water and his brain harvester is patent pending, as well as him wearing dorky goggles when Mo says he needs goggles so the skull fragments wouldn't go lose, they are all very minor and his crime of taking out his victims brains and putting them in jars is played for complete horror.
- Despite having a gruesome death of some agents from an oil company using his harvester to take out his brain, it isn't played for sympathy as he was completely psychotic and took joy in taking out his victims brains.
- While the series he comes from has multiple villains, such as Polipotanaketl, Luthor Bosco, the Pumpkin Reaper, Daisy, Mr. Greentoes and Beelzebub, he stands out due to being the only villain in the series to not have any supernatural powers, and only technological resources that aren't super advanced, and does the worst he can with those, as well as being more heinous since Luthor and Beelzebub are bog standard and don't use their resources to commit incredibly horrifying actions compared to Kindly, while the Pumpkin Reaper is heinous for cutting off people's heads and replaces them with pumpkins out of sadism, has agency problems since he was created from an evil voodoo curse, Daisy ate passengers with evidence of mauled buses with bite marks of hers on them, but has agency problems of her T-Rex genes making her bloodthirsty, Polipotanaketl is heavily implied to have killed natives in paintings of his prison, but lacks character, and Greentoes, while trying to condemn the people of Ouigee Falls to the same fate as his gnomekind via a spell that transfers their curse onto them, is tragic and has some comedic moments.
- While one can argue he may fail the standard to Mr. Royal, who was responsible for turning Scampyville, Starfish Cove, Fever Creek and Harbor Vista into empty towns by having their inhabitants' bloods sucked out, likely killing them, and using the blood to feed his queen, Kindly has less power as while he has technology, it isn't advanced and he didn't have any access to any vampiric mosquito swarm or was turned into one, he only had his technology and nothing more, and has a onscreen body count with evidence of his kills being that his victims have their brains in jars, while Royal's were offscreen as well and cared for his queen, Kindly does not possess any care for anyone, and while his kills may have been offscreen, he stands out for that he cut out his victim's brains and put them in jars while they were fully conscious.
Trivia[]
- He is the only Moville Mysteries villain to be Pure Evil, and along with Mandarin and Canaletto, are currently the only Jetix villains to be Pure Evil.
