Preedex "Preed" Yoa is one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside Joseph Korso) in the novelization of Don Bluth's 11th and most recent animated feature film Titan A.E.
He is Joseph Korso's first mate aboard the spaceship Valkyrie, and is seen as a narcissistic yet suave personality. He, along with Korso, later reveal themselves to be working for the Drej and their monarch.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He's much less comedic and more sadistic in the novel.
- He joined Korso's crew to help the Drej, but has none of Korso's morals or tragedy.
- He has no loyalty to anyone, not even Korso, turning on him when they're found out.
- He shoots Akima through the shoulder, tries to blow up Grune and Stith, and tries to kill Korso.
- He's a selfish coward whose qualms about betraying humanity to save his own skin are nonexistent.
- He slaughters several innocent colonists and shows relish in it.
- He plans to simply murder all his allies and sit back as humanity is destroyed by the Drej.
