“ | What we have done has actually saved the world so far, because it served its balance. That's what I'm here for. Equestria would suffocate at all its harmony, if spirits like me wouldn't keep things in balance. That's how the world works, Pinkie. You can't have light... without darkness. So there is no doubt about it: You and I are the best world savers ever. | „ |

The Six Winged Serpent, more well-known as Plague or the Ghost of Violence, is the titular main antagonist of the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic fan comic The Six Winged Serpent by Culu-Bluebeaver.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
In General[]
- Despite being classified as a spirit of cruelty and violence, he has clear moral agency and personality in his actions, and is able to completely differentiate between right and wrong. While he may be inherently evil and incredibly sadistic due to the concept he represents, this does not justify his brutal crimes at all, as he clearly knows that what he is doing is wrong, but still chooses to commit evil based on his own bloodlust rather than the concept he represents.
- While it is true that he was created to maintain a balance between harmony and chaos in Equestria by purging it of a certain amount of the population, he has absolutely no reason to manipulate Pinkie Pie into killing ponies and making cupcakes out of them, as well as committing completely unjustified slaughter against the innocent population of Equestria. Despite his claims that without his actions Equestria would simply suffocate from an excess of harmony, and that spirits like him would not be able to keep it in balance, in practice, all this is nothing more than his delusional hypocrisy to justify his actions, since even Twilight says that killing cannot serve balance in any way, since it contradicts itself.
- While he does have a few comedic moments, they are too brief and minor to be played for laughs, and they do not detract from his villainy in the slightest, as he is still treated as a completely serious threat throughout the entire comic, especially since he is shown to be more competent and sane in his actions than most other villains in other My Little Pony fanfics and Creepypastas, in his only appearance he threatens the entire world of Equestria rather than specifically targeting a specific area or a specific set of characters, and all of his worst actions are played purely for suspense, drama, and horror.
- Despite the comic he appears in being based on the Creepypasta "Cupcakes", which mostly has Shock Value status due to her character (where all of her actions throughout the story are played purely for the sake of pure Shock Value, with the blood being where it stands out the most) rather than the plot, he is presented as a completely standalone character made up from scratch and is not a parody, with all of his actions, including acts of bloody violence, being played completely seriously and played purely for the sake of suspense, drama, and horror rather than for the sake of Shock Value, as the story itself has a quality enough plot for him to have a full classification of himself as more than just a standard serial killer, as he is too heavily singled out in his story, compared to the same Pinkie Pie, who, compared to the original Creepypasta, was simply a temporary pawn in his plans here and is generally played in a more sympathetic manner, than her original Creepypasta counterpart, further allowing Plague to stand out as the most vile villain in his story.
- Despite only appearing in this comic and not having much running time, his actions and scenes of his actions have had a strong impact not only on Pinkie Pie specifically, but on the rest of Equestria as well. While the latter took place in Equestria's past, his actions are not based on Fridge Horror, as the story and the characters perceive him as a large enough threat to Equestria that they are completely justified in judging him too dangerous and irredeemable to be left alive.
- Unlike most other villains in similar stories, he is not given any one redeeming or sympathetic trait, is not played for laughs or pure Shock Value, and is quite possibly one of the most evil, vile, and dark villains in My Little Pony fanworks due to his relatively high level of influence over Equestria and his lack of motivation for his acts of unspeakable cruelty towards the entire population of Equestria.
- While he may not seem as vile as Pinkanema at times, he has more resources and power than her, being a spirit of cruelty and violence, and is still able to stand out in comparison to her due to the fact that he has been committing bloody evil all over Equestria upon its inhabitants since before Pinkanema herself was born.
Past[]
- He states that long ago he sowed bloodshed and suffering across Equestria, coming to it to remind its population how short life can be, until Celestia and Luna stopped him by trapping him inside a tree that was supposed to grow in the deepest part of the Everfree Forest.
- While his past killings are not shown being performed by him "live", the graphic aftermath of his atrocities against the people of Equestria with his direct participation is shown in the form of an ancient image when he tells Mane 6 his story, which very clearly shows how far he has gone in killing innocent people of Equestria.
The Six Winged Serpent[]
- Unable to commit murderous atrocities in his state of mind after his release, he skillfully posed as Pinkie Pie's inner voice, convincing her that through murder she could save Equestria from its inevitable "destruction", causing her to murder numerous innocent Equestrians over the course of several months (including the murder of characters such as Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon, Gilda, and Twist) in order to regain her physical form through their suffering and despair. These murders also involved luring potential victims by spinning their numbers to help her bake cupcakes, only to drug them with a poisoned cupcake and then either use their flesh to make more cupcakes or subject them to various forms of torture and mutilation.
- He also manipulated Pinkie Pie into arranging Apple Bloom to assist Pinkie Pie in making cupcakes from the flesh of murdered ponies while Pinkie Pie would obtain the "special ingredient" for the cupcakes, which is almost the equivalent of misleading a child into thinking through Pinkie Pie that the "special ingredient" of pony flesh was strawberry jam.
- While he seemed to have some sense of respect and concern for Apple Bloom, this was nothing more than Pestilence's twisted and sadistic desire to arranging her for an act of cruelty and violence, admiring only the fact that she improved the cupcake production and brought him closer to physical recovery, as well as the exceptionally sadistic fact that she was completely unaware of Pinkie Pie's true actions and her unknowing assistance in her crimes.
- What further proves his lack of genuine care for her, and what makes him even worse, is that he called her initial desire to help with the cupcake making (again, not knowing the truth about Pinkie Pie's actions) for the sake of her cutie mark extremely annoying, and also that when he revealed to her the truth about her unknowing involvement in Pinkie Pie's actions, as well as his return, he calls her so blind that she would not see the truth even if it was shoved in her face.
- Essentially, all of the above makes Plague directly responsible for Pinkie Pie's downfall and absolutely every crime she committed against the people of Equestria, as well as for misleading Apple Bloom and her unknowing assistance in Pinkie Pie's crimes.
- When Pinkie Pie asks Plague why he chose her for his plan, Plague simply sadistically states that she is his favorite pony.
- It is important to note that this is not a display of genuine concern or admiration for Pinkie Pie, but simply sadistic admiration for how, with his manipulation, she was able to advance so well in spreading misery and despair among the people of Equestria. So, in essence, Plague only admired Pinkie Pie's acts of killing innocents, and not her as a person.
- He sadistically reveals to Apple Bloom her unknowing involvement in Pinkie Pie's crimes, and cruelly insults her by mocking her extreme naivety, leaving Apple Bloom psychologically devastated by the realization of the brutal truth about her actions.
- He chuckles sadistically at the argument between Applejack and Pinkie Pie, and when Rainbow Dash orders him not to laugh, he simply sadistically laughs it off.
- When Fluttershy asks Plague why he does all this, the latter calmly states that he does all this only because he can and wants to.
- With these words, Plague essentially demonstrates and proves that he is fully aware of himself as an individual with moral agency, and that he values his own pleasure and entertainment above all else and has no noble reason whatsoever for carrying out bloody massacres across Equestria, instead killing its entire innocent population solely for the sake of sadistic amusement rather than out of any duty as a spirit of cruelty and violence, something he openly admits when he states that he only commits his crimes because he simply can and wants to, while at the same time repeatedly demonstrating characteristics that are uncommon among Equestrian spirits that represent different concepts within it (such as Discord, who is the living embodiment of Chaos, yet is still capable of being aware of himself as an individual and seeing the difference between good and evil), as well as completely corrupting the concept of balance for the population of Equestria, whom he kills most often for no apparent reason, despite his ranting that without his acts of spreading violence, there would be no balance for the Equestrian people. suffering and despair, Equestria would simply die from the amount of harmony in it, showing him as a completely delusional hypocrite who will do anything to preserve his method of Equestria's existence in the way he wants it to be for himself.
- He burns the message for Celestia with his magic beam so that Twilight cannot warn her of his return.
- He bisects, tortures, decapitates, and then eats Comet Tail simply to spite Pinkie Pie and all the Mane 6. He also sadistically taunts her by saying that by doing so, he can now commit murder on Equestria's population on his own instead of through Pinkie Pie, fully revealing his ingratitude towards her and her indirect help in his return.
- When Pinkie Pie accuses Plague of lying about telling her that sacrifices must be made to prevent Equestria from being destroyed, he hypocritically tries to reassure her by ranting about maintaining the balance of Equestria through such a method, only for Twilight to rightfully declare his views completely meaningless, to which Plague calls them all blind, sadistically promising to "open their eyes" to his "truth".
- He reflects lightning back at Rainbow Dash, burning off part of her tail with it, and destroys the bell tower with the same lightning, putting two Ponyville residents at risk of being crushed by the debris if they had not escaped in time.
- He attempts to kill the Mane 6 by raining sharp ends from weather vanes and fences on them.
- He removes Rainbow Dash's left wing by cutting it off with a magical beam.
Trivia[]
- He is currently the only My Little Pony Pure Evil fanon villain based on a Creepypasta.
