Piper Shaw is one of the main antagonists of the MTV series Scream.
She was the daughter of Maggie Duval and Brandon James. She was a podcaster of Autopsy of a crime and Lakewood Slasher responsible for 2015 Lakewood Murders.
She was portrayed by Amelia Rose Blaire. With disguising her voice, she is voiced by Mike Vaughn. In-costume scenes as The Lakewood Slasher were played by Stanton Barrett and Brian Avery.
What Makes Her Pure Evil?[]
- She is revealed to be responsible for teaching Kieran Wilcox that murdering was more fun than therapy and enabling his bloodlust to the point of making him a fellow serial killer and accomplice.
- Partners up with Kieran to orchestrate a massive killing spree that would kill all of Emma's close friends in some of the most sadistic ways to make her suffer. This is all while making intimidating phone calls and texts to play a sadistic game with Emma and gaslight and psychologically torture her all the way.
- Kills Nina's boyfriend Tyler and using his severed head to startle her before killing her and filming it.
- Forces Emma to make the sadistic choice of killing her "bad friend" Brooke or "good friend" Riley. When Emma refuses, she kills Riley in a way she can see her dead body right in front of her by manipulating Emma into "choosing" who survives.
- Has Emma's ex-boyfriend Will lured to a trap where Kieran kidnaps him and uses him as a bait to kill Emma's gang all at once.
- When Emma and the gang escape, she pettily straps Will to a trencher trap and tricks Emma into activating it on a time she knew they were reconciling.
- Plans with Kieran for him to kill his own father, Sheriff Clark Hudson, who she knew her mother was dating, in which Kieran straps him to a tree in such a way that freeing him will accidentally disembowel him, done all so Piper can break Maggie's heart.
- Kidnaps Maggie and threatens Emma to confront her all alone and then kill her right in front of their mother before disemboweling her all to satisfy her grudge against her.
- Frames Mr. Branson for her crimes and attempts to kill him so when her spree is finished she can end up being hailed as a hero.
- While she seemingly spares Audrey and just kidnaps her, even if it was out of altruism, she would then subvert it by attempting to kill her anyway by the end when Audrey turns against her all with sadistic relish.
- While she makes grand talks on how father Brandon James was framed and hates how when she was born she was sent away for adoption, she only uses it as an excuse to justify mimicking the killing spree she claims her father is accused of solely to make Emma suffer and is just an attention seeker angered Emma got more attention from their mother than her, having had no explicit plans to try clearing her fathers plans and just plans on ending her scheme when she is simply hailed as a hero. She only cares about herself and the reason as to why she was abandoned. She only refers to her father's name as he was a factor that resulted in her own backstory.
