Pieter "Adolf" Vorstedt is the secondary antagonist of the Lethal Weapon film series, serving as the secondary antagonist of Lethal Weapon 2.
He is the right-hand man to South African diplomat Arjen Rudd and the man who murdered Martin Riggs' wife during Riggs' earlier case as a cop and thus indirectly responsible for making Riggs suicidal and dangerous in the first film and overall shaping the character of Riggs in the franchise.
He was portrayed by the late Derrick O'Connor.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He was revealed to be responsible for killing Martin Riggs' wife Victoria Riggs and made it look like a automobile accident to cover up the error which caused Riggs to become the suicidal and dangerous cop he was in the first film.
- Aided his boss Arjen Rudd into smuggling illegal shipments of gold krugerrands in order to gain wealth, power and profit.
- He kills Rudd's henchmen if they fail their tasks.
- Along with his henchmen he attacked Roger Murtaugh and his wife Trish at their home to intimidate him.
- He killed the six police officers that were friends to Riggs and Roger Murtaugh.
- He killed Rika Van Den Haas, Rudd's secretary and Riggs' second crush, while revealing to Riggs that he killed his wife just to spite him before trying to drown him.
- He tortured Leo Getz.
- He stabbed Riggs in the leg and beat him before his own death.

- Pieter Vorstedt is, alongside his boss Arjen Rudd, one of the two Lethal Weapon villains to be Pure Evil.
