Otis Skinner is a minor antagonist in the 2018 action-adventure video game Red Dead Redemption II. He is one of the leaders of the Skinner Brothers, a gang of sadistic murderers notorious for their brutal methods.

He was voiced by Thomas Poarch.

What Makes Him Pure Evil?

• He serves as one of the founding leaders of the Skinner Brothers, making him both directly and indirectly responsible for murdering, raping and torturing countless people in Tall Trees in incredibly gruesome and horrible ways along with his gang.
  • These methods include skinning them alive, shooting them with arrows, beheading them, castrating them, crucifying them, torturing them, burning them alive, bucketing their heads, prolonging their suffering, hurting their horses, hanging them, murdering the children too, mutilating parts of their bodies, etc.
• He kidnapped Uncle, torturing him and then roasting him alive, almost killing him if it weren't for the intervention of John Marston and Charles Smith.
• He has some racist tendencies, as he calls one of his members an Injun and says that he should continue to mutilate to send a message to others.
• Despite the high Heinous Standards of Red Read Redemption, Skinner still stands out for having murdered people (including children) in incredibly brutal ways even compared to other characters, as well as having incredibly short screen time, as he only appears in the bounty hunter missions.
• While he presumably has at least one other brother who might be a fellow gang leader, he never mentions him and nothing implies Otis shares leadership, implying his other brothers might be deceased. Furthermore, nothing states Otis cares about his brother(s).

Trivia

• Otis, alongside Agustin Allende, are the only Red Dead Pure Evils to be solely encountered by John Marston.
