Viktor Uvarov, later known as Orion, is the main antagonist of the 2014 anime film Avengers Confidential: Black Widow & Punisher.
He is one of the high-ranking leaders of a global terrorist organization known as Leviathan involved in human trafficking, assassination, terrorism and drug dealings. He plans on selling the bio-soldiers that were created by Elihas Starr to the highest bidders in the black market in hopes of using them to start wars so that he can capitalize them.
He was voiced by Masashi Sugawara in the Japanese dub and by JB Blanc in the English dub.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He perpetuates numerous atrocities, like human trafficking and drug running.
- He manipulates the unlucky scientist, Elihas Starr, into making a Super Serum, and then experiments on it with hundreds of innocent people. It destroys their minds so he can rebuild them as mindless slaves.
- He plans to sell the biosoldiers to the highest bidders, as he hopes that it will lead to wars on which he can capitalize.
- He sends one biosoldier to Dubai as a test run, costing numerous innocent civilians their lives.
- He mind-controls the Punisher into gunning down S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.
- He attempts to kill the Black Widow and laughs at Elihas for his weakness when the scientist takes the bullet for her.
- He believes that "might makes right," and he has no qualms about killing countless innocents just to show their "weakness".
- As all other villains in the film work under him, he has no competition in heinousness. He is also shown to have a high body count (and an even higher attempted one through proxy).
- His partnership with Elihas was merely for business, and (as already mentioned above) he even mocked Elihas for his weakness after the latter sacrificed himself to save the Black Widow.
