~ Ommadon to Peter. |
Ommadon is the main antagonist of the 1982 Warner Bros. animated feature film The Flight of Dragons. He is one of the 4 magic brothers and wishes to rule over magic and destroy logic.
He was voiced by the late James Earl Jones, who also portrayed Thulsa Doom in Conan the Barbarian, the Emperor of the Night in Pinocchio and the Emperor of The Night and a disguised Emperor Palpatine in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He proposed to make man destroy and turn against themselves with logic so he could rule over all magic, also trying to kill his brothers in the process.
- While people had stopped believing in magic, his brothers had already come up with a peaceful solution to their problem, making his actions completely unnecessary.
- He called a large number of dragons to help him take over the magic, nearly killing Smrgol because he wouldn't join them.
- Sending Bryagh to capture Peter Dikinson and indirectly merging Peter's mind into Gorbash's body with Carolinus' attempt to free Peter.
- He is also uncaring when Bryagh goes against his orders and drops Peter to his seeming death just to spite the other heroes.
- Sent the Sandmirks by the thousands to drive Peter and Sir Orrin insane and would have succeeded if Aragh stopped them.
- He also indirectly put Princess Milisande into a deepsleep after causing her a big trauma from the Sandmirks cry.
- Indirectly caused the inkeeper's death when he sent the Ogre of Gormly Keep and destroyed his inn, as well as taking Sir Orrin and Danielle so Ommadon could figure out what to do with them.
- And also indirectly caused the death of Smrgol when the Ogre threw him on the wall.
- Sent a magic spell to destroy the heroes' will and hope, and would have succeeded if it wasn't for Peter.
- Sent Bryagh and his legion of dragons to stop Peter and his companions once and for all and caused him to temporarily kill Sir Orrin, Aragh, Danielle and Giles the wood elf.
- Attempted to intimidate and break Peter by summoning all the evil in the world, causing Peter to deny all magic in the process, meaning he could never visit the Realm of Magic again.
