Nyarlathotep is the main antagonist of the album The Shadow Out of Tim by the band The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets. He appears in the song of the same name.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Nyarlathotep is responsible for all the tragedies that had befallen mankind over the ages.
- As the wicked herald of the Outer Gods, Nyarlathotep's ultimate endgame scheme is to free his brethren. However, doing so would result in humanity getting wiped out.
- In the song of the same name, Nyarlathotep appears as a "man of darkness" to Tim, the protagonist of the album. He gives him the dreaded Necronomicon causing him to fall into madness from merely reading the content of the book.
- Nyarlathotep spread mutilation and death in every land in his thousands of forms.
