Norman Osborn is the villainous protagonist in What If? Secret Invasion. He impersonates Iron Man in his own agenda to wipe out every single Skrull on Earth.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Since it's a What If? story, he most likely shares the same crimes and history of his Earth-616 counterpart prior to Secret Invasion.
- He orchestrates Marvel Boy's suicide attack on a Skrull conversion temple, killing nearly 100 people while also framing it on Wakanda, thus resulting in Black Panther and Storm having to step down from the throne in order to prevent a self-defense invasion.
- He clouds the entire Earth with a deadly virus with the Avengers' unwitting assistance, effectively killing billions of Skrulls as well as human converts with Skrull DNA (including Aunt May), which is literally genocide. Since Captain America killed him in retribution afterwards, the Avengers have nobody to shift blame over, meaning they were likely sentenced to life in prison (or worse) when arrested at the end of the story.
- Another one of the casualties was Norman's own wife, Queen Veranke. That means, basically, he commits genocide and uxoricide simultaneously.
- Although he considers himself a hero for liberating the Earth from the Skrulls, he's not an extremist in the slightest; he's just a selfish and delusional racist who can't fathom a compromise with an alien species, even a peaceful one as the Skrulls are presented in-universe. He also could've easily cured the human converts as he did himself, but just chose not to.
