Nighthawk is a supporting antagonist in the 2010 Marvel Animated Universe series Avengers Assemble.
He is the main antagonist of the Squadron Supreme arc in the second season.
He is the leader of the Squadron Supreme and the archenemy of Falcon.
He was voiced by Anthony Ruivivar.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He forced Bill to be Dr. Spectrum’s host and blow up their home world for refusing to be subjugated.
- He infiltrated S.H.I.E.L.D. as Kyle Richmond to gather intel including Sam Wilson’s on the Avenger’s weaknesses.
- He attempted to recruit Sam Wilson, aka Falcon to his team not because of his excellent skills, but he feared for his contingency plan.
- He took down the Avengers except Falcon, who still intended to recruit him, so he can get the artifact that activated the Citadel with the intent to destroy the US starting with New York unless they submit.
- Even though his plans failed thank to Falcon’s countermeasures to saving the Avengers before New York could have been destroyed, he escapes S.H.I.E.L.D. captivity thanks to Hyperion vowing to return.
- When the Squadron stumbled upon the Reality Stone, he suggested using the stone to erase the Avengers from existence instead of treating them as villains, so they can rule Earth.
- Nighthawk carefully monitored the Avengers with a plan to eliminate them using Zarda, Speed Demon, and Dr. Spectrum to gather informations.
- He set his plan into motion by eliminating the Avengers with Thor being the sole survivor unaware that the Avengers fake their death and reviving another Squadron member, Nuke.
- After the remaining heroes were imprisoned, they began to rule Earth in a Totalitarian.
- They intended to kill of world leaders, but the Avengers saved them.
- It is revealed that Nighthawk never valued the Squadron as his teammates and only joined force for pragmatic reasons.
- When the Avengers returned and defeated most of his teammates, Nighthawk made one last plan by using Hyperion and Nuke with the former absorbing the latter’s energy with the intent of blowing up Earth.
- He planned to escape Earth not caring for his teammates, but Iron Man manage to prevent his escape and his plan to destroy Earth failed. He was also imprisoned at the Vault along with his team.
