“ | New York is f-cking cheated. This world is cheated. Around here, crime's just...it's accepted. It's like some unseen contract we're forced to sign when we're born. It's like a dog chasing a car; they're born for it. We're born for it. That's why I wanna change things up a little bit. Anyone—even you—can rob a bank or a liquor store, but that's not what gets you noticed. It's money and terror; pure, unadulterated terror. And not the kind you see on Fox News, but the kind that has no reason behind it. If people fear you, they respect you. They will agree to your terms. | „ |
~ Cavella's viewpoint on crime. |
“ | Cavella: Listen: I'm getting $1,000 a head for you ladies, so please, SHUT THE HELL UP! You know what? You two can scream all you want, because nobody can hear you. [chuckles] I love my job. Woman: Please. I-I have kids, please...! Cavella: Oh, man. They've been gone a long time. But if it helps, my dear...they were a beautiful asset to the brothel. So yeah, I had to ship 'em off. But you? Yeah, you two can stay. Boys, bring these two ladies to our special room. We'll have some fun with 'em later. |

~ Cavella's introductory dialogue. |
Nicolas "Nicky" Cavella is the main antagonist in Season 1 of the fanmade YouTube series, The Punisher: Uprising. Despite being somewhat braver and more skilled than his comic counterpart, Cavella still remains just as depraved as he was there.
He was portrayed by Dominic Merlino.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He's a prolific rapist and sex trafficker of women and children. In his introductory scene, he rubs it in one of two now-kidnapped women's face that her kids were "a beautiful asset to the brothel" before being shipped off, adding the women to said brothel after the fact. The Punisher even calls him a rapist outright while stabbing him to death.
- He had numerous other women and young girls kidnapped, tortured and murdered, after which their corpses were stuffed with drugs to ship on the black market. This even happened to Micro's young daughter Leah while her mother Sarah was forced to watch, thus adding a layer of personal villainy to Cavella's rapsheet.
- He's an abusive boss who threatens to "pay a visit" to the families of his goons should they fail him, even slapping one (Rick) in the face after he just got out of the hospital due to a broken neck. Any anger he shows for the Punisher killing his henchmen is clearly just pragmatism due to losing what little assets he already has.
- Also, when the Punisher causes a blackout at his warehouse, Cavella orders one goon to search for him outside the saferoom, and then kills another (Charlie) by snapping his neck just for disobeying that same order.
- He wants to take over all of New York City, bribing as many cops, judges and lawyers as possible using drugs and money. And, judging by his speeches to Charlie in Episode 7, it's implied that Cavella was planning to spread his criminal empire across the whole USA, if not worldwide.
- While his worst acts happen offscreen, the story paints a clear enough picture to prove that he's still very guilty of the crimes he's accused of, and said crimes are even described in vivid detail as well (as is the case of Micro's daughter).
