Nathara, aka Alchmoor, is the main antagonist of the 2017 British fantasy movie The Gaelic King. She is a sorceress that controls the shadow spirits and wishes to take over the kingdom as the ruler.
She was portrayed by Kerry Browne.
What Makes Her Pure Evil?[]
- She kidnapped several children from a village in order to take their souls to create shadow warriors, killing them in an unpleasant manner, as seen when she did it with a boy.
- She did not hesitate to kill her liberator as soon as she was accidentally released by him from her prison.
- Threatened to kill every villager in the village of Gaelic kingdom, including the children, if Alpin did not give her the gaelic power.
- Kidnapped Alpin's brother, a child, pretending to be a friend, taking advantage of his innocence so that he could reveal the king's secret to him and then be used in Nathara's ritual, which consisted of hurting him just to see that he was not fit for the ritual, causing her to use him as bait for Alpin and threaten to kill him.
- She sadistically enjoyed when her shadow soldiers killed people.
- Upon invading the village, the shadow soldiers massacre the village, killing villagers and soldiers, and she attacks the pict princess and her brother, killing the latter and leaving the former seriously injured.
- She had the Druid monk who welcomed Alpin killed by his shadow soldiers, and he had just sent his daughter (one of the kidnapped children) away to save his life, unaware that it was the last time she would see her father alive.
- In the past, before being imprisoned, Nathara, known by the name of Alchmore, ruled the Gael kingdom with tyranny and malice, leading the then king to sacrifice himself in his hands, who tried to kill him, giving him the power of the king and enabling him to imprison her.
