Nafumi Shintani is a minor character in The Unforgiving Flowers Blossom in the Dead of Night (or Higanbana No Saku Yoru Ni) serving as the main antagonist of the side story Renoir of the Art Room.
She was once a well-respected art teacher who was especially well-loved by her male students. However, beneath her image, she was a truly sociopathic and sadistic child predator.
Villain Overview[]
What Makes Her Pure Evil?[]
- She made the habit of drugging her male students with tea so she could then perform horrendous torture on their unconscious bodies.
- While the exact victim count is unknown, she had done this enough times to fill her desk with sketches.
- When she learns that Yuuki Noda harbored a crush on her, she takes advantage of that and makes him her own personal plaything. From there, she would torture him regularly whilst making him believe that his feelings for her were reciprocated.
- When Yuuki finally resisted and tried to escape, Nafumi grabs him and tosses him underneath one of the tables. A large bust fell and crushed his head.
- Despite the murder being unintentional, Nafumi nevertheless expresses zero remorse for what she had done instead calling Yuuki a stupid kid who didn't deserve to live if he refused to serve her.
- Weeks later, another boy (really Higanbana in disguise) arrives to her classroom, and she decides to make him into another subject for her artwork.
Trivia[]
- She is very similar to fellow PE Yoshihito Kanamori so much so, they battled with each over in a non-canon omake over who was the more perverted teacher.
