And no, because I'm rich and completely disconnected from society and will gladly burn it down in the pursuit of money. Probably because I'm inherently evil, or my dad was a corndog. I don't care.
~ Mr. Bilderburger explaining why he cannot stop his greed.

Mr. Bilderburger is the titular main antagonist of the episode "The Burger" from the seventh season of The Amazing World of Gumball.

He is the greedy CEO of Joyful Burger and Larry's boss, who sells hamburgers to get rich, knowing that in the long run they will kill people through poor nutrition, and prevents them from having a healthy life, something he doesn't care about as long as he's rich.

He is voiced by Stefan Ashton Frank, who also voiced Ant-One from the same series.

What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]

  • Although he has several comedic moments, like his song about how he's rich and everyone else is a fool, the fact that it's just a talking hamburger, besides being a parody of greedy businessmen, Gumball and Darwin take their actions seriously and they feel terribly bad about not being able to have a healthy life because of him.
  • He is a greedy businessman with no redeeming qualities who sells hamburgers knowing that they will cause a lot of harm to people's health in the long run.
    • He also outright acknowledges that he is inherently evil, disconnected from society and is not interested in the slightest in producing healthy food because he wants to profit even more from his junk food in his song, proving he has a solid moral agency.
  • He is misogynistic, since he pays women less and forces Larry to dress as a woman in order to pay him less.
  • Throughout the episode when Gumball and Darwin try to stop eating hamburgers, They end up quite hungry and sick, since the food in Elmore is mostly unhealthy because of Bilderburger, they're left with nothing to eat.
  • When Gumball and Darwin confronted him, he expresses no remorse and even sings a song about how foolish people are to buy from him and damage their health while he is rich.
  • Because his company is global in scale, he is poisoning thousands or even millions of people in the long term, causing its system to collapse from within. Although it is true that historia deaths are not shown directly on screen, Miss Simian mentions the terrible effects of consuming his hamburgers at the beginning of the episode, Gumball and Darwin struggle to stop eating them and his song shows how many people die because of it, preventing them from depending on the Fridge Horror.
  • His presumed death by being eaten is not played for sympathy, with Larry hinting to Gumball and Darwin that they should devour him to solve the problem.
  • Despite the massive heinous standards of the series, he stands out for being responsible of numerous people dying by heart attacks, which is a unique way to kill people in mass scale to the series.
