Calvin Gianni Avericci, more commonly referred to as Mr. Avericci, is the main antagonist of the Archie's Weird Mysteries episode "Mega-Mall Of Horrors". Initially presented as a charismatic businessman and manager of the mega mall Mall-halla, he turned out to be a demonic creature that lured people into his mall to turn them into mannequins, so that he can use their souls to pay off his debt to the Devil. he is also the arch-nemesis of Jughead Jones.
He was voiced by Brian Blessed.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Lured Archie, his friends, and other people into his mall and turned them into mannequins so that he can use their souls to pay off his debt to the Devil.
- Used hypnotic sounds from the mall speakers to ensure that his consumers would keep buying and forget about any friends that they left behind.
- Attempted to kill Jughead after he refused to buy his products.
- Unlike other villains of Archie's Weird Mysteries who have redeeming qualities, and comedic and generic traits, he has none of them and is shown to be taken very seriously.
- Whether the negative impact that his mall is having on the local economy was intentional or a mere side-effect of his whole ploy is unknown, but either way, he seems not to care.
- It can be argued that he's being forced to take souls to pay off his debt, but it's never played for any kind of sympathy, nor does he ever show any remorse or regret. It doesn't help that he was apparently a selfish man even before making his deal with the Devil.

- Mr. Avericci is the first of two Pure Evils in Archie's Weird Mysteries, the other being the future counterpart of Vinnie Wells.
