“ | The halfling was dear to thee, I see. Know that he suffered greatly at the hands of his host. Who would have thought one so small could endure so much pain? And he did, Gandalf, he did. | „ |

The Mouth of Sauron is the main antagonist of the evil campaign of the video game Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-earth II.
The messenger of Sauron, he is one of the Black Númenóreans and one of the highest members of Sauron's forces during the Third War.
In the 2003 video game, he was voiced by Roger L. Jackson, who also played Mojo Jojo in The Powerpuff Girls, Ghostface in the Scream franchise, and the White Pumpkin in Minecraft: Story Mode.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- There is nothing implying that the Mouth of Sauron is insane or tragic, nor is it implied that Sauron forced him into servitude. The Mouth of Sauron clearly enjoys his actions and crimes.
- There is no concrete proof that the Mouth of Sauron cares and is genuinely loyal to his master, rather, he is fanatical towards his master as he wants the power from him and wants to spread chaos and pain with him.
- He led an army that burned the city of Osgiliath to the ground and killed its natives.
- Helped Sauron spread darkness and chaos to Middle-earth.
- He led the armies of Dol Guldur to attack lands and attempted to commit genocide against the people that lived there.
- Led Drogoth the Dragon lord to attack Dwarves.
- While the Mouth of Sauron didn't commit many heinous crimes in the good campaign compared to the evil campaign, the same thing still would have happened had the heroes not come and stopped him.
- Created an army of Goblin and leads the attack on inner Lórien, killing many Elves and destroying Elven structures.
- He was behind the murder of Haldir and Celeborn while invading Lórien.
- Released stone giants to help him in killing many more innocent people in Lórien.
- Made an alliance with Shelob and the army of spiders so that they can help him claim more lives.
- After crossing to the other side of the bridge, he orders the Ents to be burned alive.
- Attacked Thranduil's kingdom, laying waste to the fortress, killing many innocent Elven lives, and killed Thranduil himself.
- Made an alliance with Drogoth the Dragon lord. Afterwards, he destroys the Dwarven tunnels, killing many Dwarves.
- He laid waste to the city of Dale, killing many innocent people, and commanded the dragons to spread fire and ruin everywhere.
- When a Dwarven army came to save the people of Dale, the Mouth of Sauron's army exterminated them.
- Went to the Lonely Mountains of Erebor, killing the Dwarven soldiers there and killing Dain Ironfoot II. He afterwards destroys the throne of the Lonely Mountains, symbolizing his conquer over the mountains.
- Destroyed the outer defense and gate of Rivendell and allowed his master Sauron to come and cause chaos, destruction and ruin to the city, killing all of the inhabitants in the city.
- Helped oppress Middle-earth with his master Sauron, becoming one of his top governors and caused pain and suffering to Middle-earth with his Dark Lord.
Trivia[]
- His animated film version, the Peter Jackson version, and the original book versions do not qualify as Pure Evil, because though they were said to be "more cruel than any Orc", all of these versions had so little screen time that this is more of an implied trait in addition to barely having any onscreen crimes altogether. However, the game's version qualifies due to committing many heinous crimes and genocide, qualifying him as Pure Evil.
