Mother Apollonia is the unseen overarching antagonist of the Puppet Combo retro horror survival game Nun Massacre. She was the abusive head nun at the catholic private dormitory who abused and humiliated Janie McDonnell, kickstarting the story.

What Makes Her Pure Evil?

• The Mother Apollonia runs the preparatory school like a nightmarish hellscape, where physical, mental and sexual abuse of children regularly happen as an attempt to keep them discipline and cure them or their illness.
• She focused all her abuse towards Janie after seeing her as a demon, allowing other kids to pick and bully on the girl. She also took away her comfort doll, Bongo the Clown just for good measure.
• It’s implied she intimidated other students and teachers to get away with her behaviour.
• Allowed Janie to wet herself in class after refusing to give her the bathroom, and when she once defecated on the floor after being locked in a room for hours, she forced her to smear it all over her body while naked in front of the school to humiliate her.
• She frequently hit and abused Janie, apparently forcing her to strip as she smacks all over her body to the point she gets red marks all over her body and it's said one time that she hit her with the ruler 5 times in quick succession for no reason.
• During one specific night, Apollonia sexually violated Janie with a cross, psychologically breaking her and making her hateful. It was also stated that she had a burning sensation and couldn't walk after it.
• It is all but said she caused the events of the game, as the abuse of the mother, and sending Janie back to her mother so the abuse can keep happening due to her mother taking tips from Mother Apollonia, leads Janie to commit suicide, which makes a regretful Mrs. McDonnell to hallucinate the titular Nun and depending on the ending the player gets, can eventually be driven to suicide herself.

Trivia

• She, along with Carol’s Mom, are the only two Puppet Combo Pure Evils to not be a killer.
