I detest the sort of peace that you people wish to preserve on this planet and others. All those who would strive for such nonsense...should be eradicated.
~ Moro in Chapter 50 of the Dragon Ball Super manga.
Silence! How dare you presume to lecture me! You think yourself a God? Know this, I do not fear divine power! I am Moro, Consumer of Worlds! The God's creations are mine to devour!! I AM THIS GALAXY'S SUPREME LIFE-FORM!!
~ Moro during his final battle with Goku in Chapter 64 of the Dragon Ball Super manga

Moro, also known as Planet-Eater Moro, is the main antagonist of the Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga in Dragon Ball Super. He is a powerful wizard who threatened Universe 7 about 10 million years ago.

What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]

  • Ten million years ago, he was responsible for all of the deaths on 320 planets by consuming their energy.
  • During his fight with the Grand Supreme Kai and the South Supreme Kai, he absorbed the energy of a nearby planet and condensed it into a ball to consume it.
  • When he arrived on New Namek, he pulled Esca, a Namekian child, out of a nearby house and attempted to drain his energy.
  • Absorbs the energy of both Goku and Vegeta to revitalize his own, leaving them on the brink of death.
  • When searching for the Dragon Balls, he goes to a nearby village and begins slaughtering the Namekians there for information.
  • Nonchalantly kills the Namekian Savior, mocking the other Namekians and asking if he was supposed to be their savior.
  • Presumably kills all of the Namekians in the other villages with the Dragon Balls.
  • When Cranberry is making his wishes, he threatens to hunt him down across the universe if he does not restore his magic powers.
  • Betrays and kills Cranberry, despite the fact that he was the one who told him about the Namekian Dragon Balls and made the wish to restore his magic powers, in order to have his own wish granted.
  • Wishes for all the prisoners in the Galactic Patrol Prison to be freed.
  • Drains the remaining life from New Namek, leaving only a single Namekian survivor.
  • Expresses his desire to create a universe where he is free to consume planets as he wishes, expressing his disdain for anyone who attempts to preserve peace.
  • Eradicates Planet Zoon and all of its inhabitants.
  • During a two-month period, he consumes multiple planets across the galaxy.
  • Orders the execution of the Macareni Gang after they called for help, claiming that "traitors acting on their own are dispensable".
  • Arrives on Earth to drain the planet of its energy as well as all of its inhabitants.
  • Pumps energy into Saganbo despite seeing the burden on his body, causing all of Saganbo's vital organs to shut down and kill him.
  • Calls Saganbo, his right-hand man, pathetic for not being able to withstand his energy, and when Goku calls Moro out for killing his right-hand man, he states that he only viewed Saganbo as an expendable pawn.
  • When preparing to fuse with Seven-Three after having his energy drained by Vegeta, he kills Shimorekka simply because there was a possibility that he'd get in his way.
  • Forcefully fuses with Seven-Three to unlock a new transformation.
  • Nearly kills Vegeta by using his own attack, then mocks him for giving such a grandiose name for a regular attack.
  • Brutally impales Goku through his chest, almost killing him.
  • Nearly kills Piccolo by using his own Special Beam Cannon while leaving the rest of the Z-Fighters on the brink of death so he can absorb their energy.
  • Attempts to brutally murder Jaco because he found his energy to be useless.
  • Gets Merus indirectly killed by forcing him to use his Angel powers and violate the Angel laws.
  • After Goku shows him mercy and gives him a Senzu Bean to restore his energy when Moro promises to return to the Galactic Prison, he double-crosses Goku and attempts to land a surprise attack to kill him.
  • Even after being given another chance by Goku to settle things peacefully and return to the Galactic Prison, he refuses to change his ways and instead vows to consume planets until all of Universe 7 is left barren.
  • After stealing Merus' powers and gaining Ultra Instinct, he attempts to kill Goku, expressing his desire to see Goku beg for mercy before he dies.
  • When his body is unable to hold the power of Ultra Instinct, he fuses with the Earth itself, proceeds to drain the energy of all of its inhabitants, and attempts to self-destruct and take the entire Northern Galaxy with him.
  • It is stated by other characters that the souls of the beings he's absorbed are trapped within him, with both Goku and Gohan noting they could hear their screams of agony and terror when sensing Moro's energy.

Trivia[]

  • For now, Moro is the only Pure Evil villain in Dragon Ball to be a Manga-only villain.
