“ | I see this is how you dare challenge me! I, Morhurl, Master of the Great Mountain! But you have made a mistake: you should have listened to the Dragon of the Waters, but you failed to do so, you little boaster, and it makes me stronger still! You lose this time, goodbye! | „ |
~ Morhurl if the player fails to rearrange the crystals in the right order. |
Morhurl is the main antagonist of The Fire Mountain chapter in the 1998 edutainment game Forestia. He is an evil sorcerer who takes control of a volcano to destroy Forestia.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He stole the three magical crystals the Crystal Masters would use to bring peace to Forestia. He's also heavily implied to be the reason the Crystal Masters were decimated.
- The fact there's a chained talking skeleton in his tower seems to suggest he killed the person that skeleton used to be.
- Placing a curse on Forestia, Morhurl killed at least 5 of its inhabitants (including Daddyoak and his son), trapped a weasel in a cage and awakened a volcano known as "the Fire Mountain," intending to use it to destroy all of Forestia.
- It's possible he was the one who sent the lightning that seemingly killed Sam.
- If the player fails to rearrange the crystals in the right order, Morhurl will mock them for their failure before activating the Fire Mountain, succeeding in destroying Forestia.
- While Forestia is an innocent and comedic edutainment game, Morhurl is taken deadly serious and the entire chapter where he appears into is much darker compared to the rest of the game (to the point that not only you find some dead characters lying around, but you see the souls of 3 of them slowly flying away from their bodies).
