Morgana le Fay is the overarching antagonist of Disney's 2010 live action fantasy adventure movie The Sorcerer's Apprentice. She is a legendary all-powerful sorceress hell-bent on dominating mankind.
She was portrayed by Alice Krige.
What Makes Her Pure Evil?[]
- She was formerly a student of Merlin who betrayed him and became his enemy.
- She is a powerful and baneful sorceress and has murdered countless people over the years, becoming the archenemy of Merlin and his students.
- She planned to use a spell known as "The Rising" to take over the world by resurrecting countless dead sorcerers and and rule over it in eternal darkness, enslaving humanity in the process.
- She took Merlin's apprentice Maxim Horvath over to her side and got him to betray his master and friends.
- She murdered numerous knights, burning many of them alive with fire magic.
- She fought Merlin and when he hesitated and was distracted by Horvath, Morgana stabbed him, mortally wounding and killing him.
- She attempted to kill Balthazar and when Veronica took Morgana's essence into her own body to save him, Morgana began to kill her from the inside, forcing Balthazar to trap them both in the Grimhold for centuries.
- She is indirectly responsible for countless death and chaos over the years as her followers kill countless people and cause countless destruction in an attempt to free her from the Grimhold.
- When Maxim frees her from the Grimhold, she possesses Veronica's body and calls out Horvath for looking "pathetic" at the way he looks at her when he first believes she is Veronica, the woman he desired, showing she has no care for her minions and only sees them as a means for her to achieve her goals.
- She attempts to cast "The Rising", being close to completing the spell, before it is disrupted.
- When Balthazar draws Morgana out of Veronica and into his own body, she attacks him from the inside and mocks Balthazar's apprentice, Dave Stutler and Veronica.
- After leaving Balthazar's body and fighting Dave in her spirit form, she mocks him as he struggles doing damage to her.
- She attacks Veronica and temporarily kills Balthazar, until he is brought back by Dave.
