Mephiles the Dark is the main antagonist of Garrulous64's rewrite of Sonic the Hedgehog (2006).
He is one of the two pieces of Solaris after he was somehow split in two. Looking to reunite with his other half Iblis, in order to once again become complete and reign complete multiversal damnation, destroying all of space and time.
He was voiced by Garrulous himself, though he likely would've been portrayed by Dan Green had the concept been fully realized.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Contacts Dr. Eggman under the guise of Dr. Eggman Nega, and tells him about the Flames of Disaster causing him and Eggman to teleport Soleanna into Sonic's dimension causing the events of the story to take place.
- Lies to Silver telling him that he was the sole survivor of his timeline and that his attempts to kill Iblis mean nothing as he will always fail.
- Teleports Silver to the past which causes him immense pain.
- Manipulates Silver the Hedgehog into gathering the Chaos Emeralds under the guise of using them creating a better future with no Iblis before telling him to kill anyone trying to attempts to get in their way.
- Painfully brainwashes Metal Sonic into collecting the Chaos Emeralds for him.
- Threatens the brainwashed Metal stating that if he failed him he would long for the watery grave he just emerged from.
- Though he saves Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Omega and Rouge from Iblis, he did so because he still needed them for his plan.
- He revealed to Silver that he was using him, and that there were still survivors in the future and taunts him stating that Silver didn't care about the survivors and just wanted to escape his future.
- Has Metal Sonic kidnap Amy and tells the heroes to meet him at Eggman's base in White Acropolis to trade the Chaos Emeralds in exchange for Amy and threatens them if they try anything, but not before swatting Blaze to the ground after she tries to save Amy.
- Has Metal kidnap Eggman and steal his emeralds after he realizes that he was manipulated.
- Drains Amy's energy when the heroes arrive at the drop zone and refuses to let her go until the emeralds are on his side of the playing field.
- He kills Blaze by impaling her, although this was temporary.
- When he fused with Iblis to form Solaris, he transformed Earth into an endless dimension that would be later devoured by him,
- As Solaris, he attempts to destroy all life in existence without hesitation.
