Matsumoto is the overarching antagonist of the 2003 martial arts action film Kill Bill: Volume 1. He was a ruthless Yakuza boss that was responsible for the deaths of O-Ren's parents.
He is voiced by Naomi Kusumi.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He ordered his men to kill O-Ren's father, who was stabbed in the back and then in the head by Pretty Riki (his right-hand man), unknowingly in front of O-Ren, who back then was 9 years-old.
- After killing her father, Matsumoto dragged O-Ren's mother to a bed and then stabbed her with a katana, killing her.
- Ordered one of his men to burn down O-Ren's house.
- He attempted to rape and kill O-Ren when she was 11, although he failed to do so and she killed him, earning her revenge.
- His actions would result in O-Ren becoming a ruthless assassin and then crime lord.
- Stands out in comparison to the other villains in the duology due to being the only pedophile in the Tarantinoverse despite having only appeared in a flashback.
