~ Martin Bosa attempting to sell a child. |
Martin Bosa is the overarching antagonist of the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode "Ritual". He is a pimp and human trafficker who sells children from Nigeria.
He was portrayed by the late Sullivan Walker.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He is a trafficker who buys children in Nigeria from local warlords who kidnapped them or from their own families. He has trafficked countless children from Nigeria over to America in large shipments over the years, selling them to wealthy Americans as unpaid domestic workers, sex slaves, or both.
- He keeps the children he has not yet sold into a warehouse where they are fed only enough to keep them alive.
- He trafficked a pair of siblings, Ajani and Na'imah, selling Na'imah to Marion Laymon as a maid and selling Ajami to pedophile, Allan Shaye who sexually abused Ajani. When he Shaye learned his wife was coming home early from her trip abroad, he brutally killed Ajani and dismembered him, framing his death as a Santeria ritual, Bosa being indirectly responsible for what happened to Ajani.
- When he learns he is being investigated, he abandons numerous children that he trafficked chained up in a warehouse, leaving them all to slowly die so that he will not be caught. Had the children not been found by the police, they all would have died.
- When the detectives go undercover as buyers, he suggests that they buy a younger girl who they can train and make do what they want.
- When he realizes that he has been set up, he attempts to escape. After he is caught and beaten by Fin Tutuola, he tries to claim that he was a victim of racist police brutality.
- When confronted by Kema Mabuda, he shows himself to be a misogynist by mocking her, laughing, and saying, "What can a woman do?"
- When threatened with facing the death penalty in a Nigeria, he reveals where his latest shipment of children is to avoid execution, showing him to be nothing more than a greedy coward.
