Lord Mogra is the main antagonist of the 2022 comic miniseries Garmadon, which serves as a tie-in to LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu. He is a former member of the Elemental Alliance alongside Wu and Garmadon who betrayed them to become the leader of the Red Crows, formerly the Sons of Garmadon.

What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]

  • He betrayed the Elemental Alliance to ally himself with Master Chen and the Serpentine during the Serpentine War. When confronted by the young Garmadon and Wu about this, he simply mocked them and fought him, instead trying to get them to join him.
  • He swore to Wu about the Great Devourer's rise to power and how he would lose everything.
  • He took over the Sons of Garmadon gang in Kryptarium Prison and helped break them out of prison.
  • He stole Garmadon's helmet as a means to destroy everything he built.
  • He terrorizes the Two Moon Village and forces them to make Two Moon Tea for him and his group, while having the bears in Glimwillow Forest protect them in exchange, a promise he later breaks.
  • When reported about Garmadon's presence in the village, Mogra decides to send him a message by attacking the villagers and setting the whole area on fire.
  • He arrogantly taunts Garmadon about how he stole everything from him.
  • After consuming the tea to power up, he flies Garmadon up to the sky and barrages him with a breath of fire, believing it to finish him off.
  • He establishes his base operations in the village renamed it as "New Mograton", earning the villagers' disdain.
  • He ordered Killow to drive the bears out of the Glimwillow Forest, likely to further produce the Two Moon Tea to finalize his plans to conquer Ninjago.
  • Upon being outmatched by Garmadon and the hundreds to thousands of bears, he consumes more tea to power up. Realizing he is about to explode from an overdose, he attempts to take the entire village and army down with him out of spite to fuel his ego. To make matters worse, this would also kill his own army of Red Crows.
  • Despite the massive heinous standards of the Ninjago franchise, he sticks out with his very limited resources and his slightly unique method of populicide.
