Lord Drakkon is the main antagonist in the Shattered Grid arc of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comic books by Boom! Studios.

He is a sinister and older version of Tommy Oliver from an alternate reality where he rules his Earth with an iron fist from a dystopiac and futuristic Angel Grove where he is in total control.

What Makes Him Pure Evil?

• Unlike the original Tommy, who turned good after being freed from Rita Repulsa's curse by Jason Lee Scott and the Rangers, this version refused to join the Rangers, fleeing and wandering from city to city, avoiding the rangers, when they tried to find him, allowing Rita to cast a spell on him again.
• Helped Rita conquer Earth, one city by one.
• Breached the Command Center as Jason was being infused with new power of White Ranger, interrupting the process before it could finish.
• Killed Jason and merged the power of White Ranger with his own.
• Killed the Rangers, destroyed their Zords and conquered the Earth.
• Betrayed and murdered Rita.
• Turned Finster into cyborg Finster 5, with the deceased Alpha's body parts.
• Used the energy of the Power Coins to create Ranger Sentries for his personal army to use to take over Earth.
• When Kimberly tried to avenge her friends, he brainwashed her with one Rita's spells, turning her into his Ranger Slayer.

Trivia

• He, alongside the crossover incarnations of Lord Zedd and Brainiac, are the only three Pure Evils of the BOOM! Studios Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers comics.
• He is the only version of Tommy to be Pure Evil. Ironically, his original good counterpart, Tommy Oliver, is Pure Good.
• He is also the only Power Ranger to be Pure Evil.
