The Lily Carnation is the overarching antagonist of the sixth One Piece movie, Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island.
It is a monstrous plant creature resembling a flower that striked a deal with Baron Omatsuri to have them feast on stray pirate crews invited to its island to feast on them in exchange of giving him copies of his deceased crew, shriveling them up whenever it was hungry.
It was voiced by Misa Watanabe, who also voiced The Queen in Ico.
What Makes It Pure Evil?[]
- Made a deal with a mourning Omatsuri that had his crew killed in a storm, having so that he would invite any pirate crew to their island, and let it eat everyone from it, in exchange of giving him copies of his deceased crew for him to cling onto.
- Given the dozens of ships wrecked on the island, it presumably ate hundreds or thousands of pirates.
- It would also eat any children in the pirate crews, proving to be capable of hurting children.
- Despite being a carnivore that needed to eat, it displays enough sadism through the sounds it produces sounding like laughter whenever they catched another human, as shown when they both captured Robin.
- It's sadism also is shown cause of how long of a process they spend fooling the pirates who are invited, playing through games every time they spend in the island just to split them apart literally and emotionally, leaving them helpless when they are catched.
- It's also capable of playing the role of an innocent happy looking talking flower, hiding their true intentions, showing it is sentient.
- Unlike the Baron Omatsuri, who despite becoming just as ruthless as it ends up being deeply tragic due to having lost his crew and has a sympathetic last moment, the Lily Carnation demonstrates to be a monstrous predator who enjoys decieving and taunting its prey.
