Lex Luthor is the main antagonist of the Elseworld story Elseworld's Finest: Supergirl & Batgirl, he is the one responsible for killing Kal-El as a child.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He killed Kal-El when he was only a baby and used his corpse as a power source to gain more power and money.
- When Hamilton attempted to expose him, Luthor ruined his life. Leaving his partner with no fortune, family, or loved ones.
- Hired Joe Chill to assassinate the Wayne family, including a child named Bruce Wayne, but ended up killing the Gordons instead.
- Uses The Joker to nearly beat Supergirl to death and then taunted her about his killing of her baby cousin and how he'd make her race go extinct. In fact, he also revealed to be xenophobic against aliens in general, claiming he never murdered anyone because aliens have no equal rights as humans.
- Plans to use Supergirl's corpse as a power source, the same way he did to her cousin.
- While he does act like a nice person and helps Metropolis, it is all part of his act to hide his true nature. The only reason he helped Metropolis was to gain the glory of being a respectable businessman and satiate his own bloated ego.
Trivia[]
- Supergirl mentioned that Lex had a moment where he sympathized with Batgirl and mentioned he also lost his family and understood what she's going through. However, it's not mitigating because not only was this moment not shown onscreen, but later he never mentioning them in the present or showed genuine care for them. In fact, this was when he was manipulating Supergirl into being his pawn and gaining her trust; he revealed he never actually cared for her in the slightest, thus putting this claim into doubt about whether he really genuinely cares for them or if what happened really is true.
