Knull is one of the main antagonists of the Marvel Comics franchise. He is the main antagonist of the Venom comic book series, serving as the overarching antagonist of Absolute Carnage and the titular main antagonist of King in Black.
He is a malevolent deity who existed in darkness before the universe's creation, and is the creator of the symbiotes, including Venom, Riot and Carnage, with the intent of destroying and corrupting all other life in the universe. He, Riot and Carnage are the three archenemies of Venom.

What Makes Him Pure Evil?
- He retaliated to the Celestial's creation of the universe by decapitating one of them with All-Black the Necrosword.
- He is the cause of both Gorr the God Butcher's rise to power and the events of the Absolute Carnage storyline.
- He created the Symbiotes in order to slaughter all other races and take over the entire universe, causing trillions of deaths in his reign of terror.
- He invaded Earth during the King in Black storyline.
- He killed the Sentry and assimilated the Void, allowing himself to cloak Earth in darkness.
- He temporarily succeeded in killing Eddie Brock.
- He attempted to abduct and possibly kill Eddie's son Dylan to prevent him from interfering with his invasion.
