King Ghidorah is the overarching antagonist of the Rebirth of Mothra trilogy, serving as the main antagonist of Rebirth of Mothra III.
Like his Showa era incarnation, he is an evil extraterrestrial who invaded Earth millions of years ago during the Cretaceous. He returned to Earth in the present day to feed on the life forces of human children, trapping them all inside a gigantic dome in the forests around Mount Fuji.
He was portrayed by Tsutomu Kitagawa, who would go onto playing as Godzilla in five of the six Millennium films.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Upon arriving on Earth in the Cretaceous period, he killed and fed on the life forces of vast numbers of dinosaurs.
- In the present, he attempted to wipe out all life on Earth, first by kidnapping every child in Japan and imprisoning them in his dome so that he could drain their life essence and become more powerful, something that would have naturally killed them.
- He brainwashes Lora and makes her turn on Moll.
- In order to pass the time, he decimated a bunch of cities, despite the fact that there was no need to.
- He is pleased with exterminating entire planets for their life essence, is happy to kill all children, and is responsible for the deaths of billions.
Trivia[]
- Earlier plans for Rebirth of Mothra III have Rodan be the main antagonist and have Rainbow Mothra time travel to fight his younger self in feudal Japan before being changed to have Ghidorah be the main antagonist instead with Rainbow Mothra time traveling to the Cretaceous period. Had that idea gone through, that version of Rodan would have taken Ghidorah's spot on the Wiki instead and would make him the only version of Rodan to be Pure Evil so far.
