Kenzou is a minor antagonist in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean. A former cult leader, he is an elderly inmate in Green Dolphin Street Prison who is sent by Enrico Pucci to assassinate Jolyne Cujoh and her allies. He wields the Stand known as Dragon's Dream.
In Japanese, Kenzou was voiced by Makoto Terada/Mugihito, while Dragon's Dream was voiced by Tamotsu Nishiwaki in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle and Shigeru Nagashima/Chō in English. In English, Kenzou was voiced by the late William Fredrick "Bill" Knight, while Dragon's Dream was voiced by Brent Mukai, the latter English VA voices Gyokko in Demon Slayer.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Manipulated thousands to join his cult to worship him like a god-like figure, with it not only having a large number, but even some of the society’s elite were tricked by him as well.
- When the police and the FBI began to expectedly grow suspicious of this practice, Kenzou took matters into his own hand to die in a blaze of glory by locking him and thirty-four of his men in a villa and drugging them all, before setting the house on fire and driven them to suicide.
- Killed a number of other prisoners by shoving his fist into their mouth, striking their spinal cord. This would result with their corpses morphing into trees to give way for the Green Baby's birth, further enabling Pucci's Heaven Plan.
- During his fight with Foo Fighters, he tries multiple times to brutally harm her, such as using his "drowning" technique.
- Sadistically grins while watching Foo Fighters being electrocuted and almost killed her.
- While he does have many comedic moments, such as his defeat having his legs turned into springs while he tries to call for Dragon's Dream, he is still taken completely seriously in universe and these moments don't detract from his heinousness.
- Although he doesn't do as much damage as Ungalo, Donatello Versus, and Enrico Pucci, he manages to stand out from the other three.
Trivia[]
- Kenzou is the only Stone Ocean antagonist to be Pure Evil. This also makes him the final Pure Evil in the first universe of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.
