Ken Castle is the main antagonist in the movie "Gamer".
Castle is a wealthy and highly skilled computer programmer living in the futuristic world of 2024. Creating the Nanex technology, which are self-replicating nanites that mimic brain cells, Castle organizes real-life video games, including Society and Slayers, exploiting participants for entertainment and schemes to take it worldwide.
He is portrayed by Michael C. Hall.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Presented his project to Tillman and his friend soldier in an experiment, and forces Kable to pick up a gun and kill his friend which leads to Kable being put on death row.
- He created the games Slayers and Society for entertainment, where players control real death-row prisoners and force them to fight in a deadly arena. Through these games, he exploits the prisoners, making them kill each other for public amusement while wielding power and control over their lives.
- Tried to send the ruthless criminal, Hackman, to kill Kable out of fear that he will break free from his control and expose the truth.
- Unleashed a formidable army of brainwashed soldiers to stop Kable, resulting in the deaths of his men.
- Had his men infiltrate the Humanz organization when they were going to unveil his true colors, killing everyone there.
- Kidnapped Kable's wife and daughter, threatening to kill them if Kable doesn't comply with his demands.
- Summons a group of brainwashed men in a musical number to kill Kable, who manages to beat down all of them.
- Exploited the environment through Nanex technology and uses his control over the Nanex to limit Tillman's movements and actions and beat him up.
- Brought Kable's family onto the court, and tries to make Kable kill his own daughter.
- Called his henchmen "retards" when issuing orders, showing how he doesn't actually care for them.
- Planned to subject the majority of humanity into mind-control, costing them their freedom.
