Keera L. Greenwood is a minor antagonist from light novel series How Not to Summon a Demon Lord. He was the prince of the elven Kingdom of Greenwood and sister of abusive older brother of Shera L. Greenwood. He is the self-proclaimed love rival/nemesis of Diablo.
He was voiced in Japanese by Akira Ishida (who also voiced Fyodor Dostoyevsky in Bungo Stray Dogs, Ryuunosuke Uryuu in Fate/Zero and Gabriel Miller in Sword Art Online) in Japanese and by Stephen Fu (who also voiced Kyoya Sadamoto in Lost Judgment: The Kaito Files) in the English dub.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- In general, he is a spoiled man-child who thinks the world revolves around him and views his race as superior towards others. When not putting on a polite facade, he is very arrogant and rude even towards his own subordinates, referring to them as idiots for not agreeing with his agenda.
- While he is stated to have been caring in the past and may have went psychotic after the death of his older brother, any redeeming qualities he may have had are unshown and long gone due to his actions. To further exemplify this, he ended up laughing about his brother "dying in a hunting accident" and saying he hated him for treating both him and Shera kindly.
- Despite putting on a polite act around his little sister, Shera, this is a facade to hide his desire to marry and impregnate her to bear an offspring, regardless of her not wanting to. He even refers to her as his slave multiple times.
- Placed a bounty on his sister and hired a group of bodyguards to kidnap her. Upon finding her, he puts on the facade that he just misses her and wants her to come home. While he acted sorry and left, this was only to divert suspicion as he played his flute to brainwash her into coming home. In the manga, he didn't put on an act and downright threatened to slap her if she didn't come home while acting cocky towards Diablo and the others.
- Restrains his sister to interrogate her about what she did with Diablo while making her wear a slave collar. Before he leaves, he abuses her then sadistically laughs while he has a slime eat off her clothes in hopes of raping her afterwards.
- He brainwashed Shera to make her lie about staying with him to Diablo, only for her to break free of his control and admit her feelings for Diablo. Out of an envious rage, he unleashed a monster that he thought would destroy the entire world unless Shera returned to him.
Trivia[]
- While he is Pure Evil in both the manga and anime, he comes across as much more outwardly angry in the manga, while in the anime, he puts on a polite act.
- Despite all he has done, Sheera still refuses to let Diablo kill him because she doesn't want to lose anymore family. Regardless, he doesn't die a sympathetic death seconds later.
