Mademoiselle Justine Florbelle is the titular protagonist villainess of the Justine DLC for Amnesia: The Dark Descent. She is a sadomasochistic French aristocrat who routinely enjoys her own fear while kidnapping, torturing and killing men while she slowly recovers from an amnesiac state.

She was voiced by Emily Corkery.

What Makes Her Pure Evil?

• At age 11, she killed her own father with a star-shaped soapstone.
  • It's also heavily implied in notes that they had a sexual relationship beforehand, her father claiming that she "only tried to fill the void left by mother" while they were alone together in the bedroom. Considering Justine's blatant knack for using her good looks to victimize men for her own sick thrills in the present, it's highly likely that she raped her father and not vice-versa.
• She kidnapped and transformed her three male lovers (named Aloïs Racine, Basile Giroux and Malo de Vigny) into the Suitors; blinding them, carving an X onto their chests, putting neck traps around their throats, and just overall physically and psychologically torturing them to the point of insanity. Notably, Malo turned cannibalistic because of what Justine put him through.
• She kidnapped three other men, placing them into deathtraps within the Cabinet of Perturbation before drinking an amnesiac potion, testing herself on whether or not she'd be able to save them for her own sadomasochistic thrills. For details:
  1. Dr. Victor Fournier is bound to a table with a spike on the ceiling, thus impaling him if Justine pulls the lever in order for herself to escape the prison cells.
  2. Fr. Hector David's arms and legs are tied to ropes, quartering him. If Justine puts incorrect slides into the slots four times while attempting to escape the library, the priest will have all of his limbs torn off by the ropes and die.
  3. Insp. Felix Marot is bound to a wall in the dungeon. Justine then has to make one of two choices: either use the inspector as bait to escape the Suitor on her tail, or risk her own life by closing the door to protect said inspector.
• Regardless of who out of the doctor, priest and inspector Justine manages to save, she'll keep the exit door to the Cabinet of Perturbation locked, essentially leaving them there to die. It's also all but confirmed that Justine's "test" wasn't just a one-time thing, as she calls it the best one yet.
• Despite having been best friends with her maid Clarice since childhood, it's implied that Justine is perfectly willing to put her in the next "test" due to how dangerously close she is to discovering the Cabinet of Perturbation, responding "I certainly hope not" when Clarice asks if she heard voices coming from downstairs.
