John Baca, better known as Johnny 23, is a major antagonist of the 1997 action film Con Air.
He was portrayed by Danny Trejo, who also voiced El Cucuy in "El Cucuy: The Boogeyman".
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He is a serial rapist with at least 23 counts of rape. Although it could be far higher then that, as he states he would be called "Johnny 600" if the truth was known.
- Although it happened offscreen, it had onscreen effects explicitly shown on the number of his tattoos. The tattoos symbolize the number of victims raped by him.
- He attempted to rape Bishop twice.
- His actions were so horrible that even Cyrus Grissom who is a full blown mass murdering terrorist who is willing to kill thousands of innocents and children as well, and possibly Nathan were disgusted at him for the very fact that he is a rapist.
- Despite helping Cyrus and the others, it is likely for pragmatic reasons and while he did call out Cyrus' name when they were about to crash, this maybe because he wanted to be untied.
- In the Unrated Extended Cut of the movie, Johnny 23 goes even further in his villainy, promising he is going to rape Cameron and his whole family after Bishop when the latter tries to stop him from raping the guard.
