“ | Do you know what it was like growing up in this family? Related to you? I mean, all I ever heard was Sidney this, Sidney that! Sidney, Sidney, Sidney! You were always so f-cking special! Now I'm the special one! | „ |
~ Jill Roberts to Sidney Prescott talking about her jealousy to her. |
“ | My Friends? What world are you living in? I don’t need Friends; I need Fans. DON'T YOU GET IT!!!? | „ |
~ Jill Roberts after killing her accomplice, selfishly reminded Sidney Prescott that she will not share her fame to her so-called "Friends". |
Jillian "Jill" Roberts is the main antagonist of the 2011 horror film Scream 4.
She is Sidney Prescott's egotistical and jealous cousin who wants to become as famous as her and tries to accomplish this by becoming the next Ghostface and pretending to be a surviving victim of the ongoing massacre she started.
She was portrayed by Emma Roberts, who also played Angelina Tyler in the Scream fan fiction Friends I Don't Have.
What Makes Her Pure Evil?
- Killing anyone who ever loved her, including her own mother.
- Her feeling that her mother loved Sidney better translated itself into an irrational lust for fame, which is an inexcusable Freudian excuse even for a serial killer.
- Her hate for Sidney was odd seeing as how the later always took care of her.
- Although she says she liked her high school friends, this saying was most likely false as she killed them with no remorse to get famous which proves she only saw them as pawns and not people.
- She desires fans more than friends, but she views fans as nothing more than objects of desire rather than real people, and she would selfishly take all the fame for herself than to share with her so-called friends after betraying her accomplice.
- While she may have been in love with Trevor in the past, it is clear she no longer feels anything genuine to him anymore.
- Stabbed Rebeca Walters and then threw her off a building to her death.
- Stabbed two police officers (Hoss and Perkins) to death.
- Betraying her loyal soldier, stabbing him in the heart and revealing she planned on framing him all along despite everything Charlie did for her.
- Wanted Sidney to suffer more than any other Ghostface, including forcing her to watch Trevor and Charlie get killed before stabbing her.
- Although Trevor offered to help her from the Ghostface attack (unaware she was Ghostface), she wasn't grateful and told him to get lost, which proves she never saw him as anything beyond her property.
- When Trevor tried his hardest to apologize for cheating on her, Jill did not care and arrogantly told him to leave her alone.
- Shooting Trevor's groin and proceeding to finish him off with a headshot so that she could punish him for cheating, which makes her the first woman in the franchise who's confirmed to violate someone else's rights in a sexually aggressive way (followed by Piper Shaw). And yet worse, she took this even further and decided to frame Trevor as one of the killers.
- Tried to kill Sidney for a second time, willing to burn down the whole hospital even if she herself would get killed, out of sheer spite, also not caring about the staff and patients' lives.
- Filmed her kills for a repeating watching.
- Even when she was about to die, it did not stop her from trying to finish Sideny off.
