NOTE: This page is a composite of Jhiaxus' incarnation in the continuity of the 1984 Marvel comics

We had order. Structure. A perfect, faultless mechanism that was destined to re-shape the galaxy. Then you came! Old, flawed... an evolutionary stage we had risen far beyond. A reminder of every primal instinct we had buried.
~ Jhiaxus embracing his brutality as he tears Optimus Prime apart in Generation Two
Rodimus Prime: What I meant was you coudn't have possible created this many worlds from scratch. These must be existing worlds... mecha-formed. So how many already supported life?

Jhiaxus: It depends I suppose how you classify life.

~ Jhiaxus shrugging off his genocides when confronted by Rodimus Prime in Regeneration One

Jhiaxus is a major antagonist in the Marvel continuity of The Transformers franchise, serving as one of the main antagonists of the 1993 comic series, The Transformers; Generation Two, before returning once again in the alternate sequel to the original series, Regeneration One, as the secondary antagonist of its final arc, "The War To End All Wars".

While in Generation Two Jhiaxus is the Liege Centuro of the Cybertronian Empire, while in Regeneration One he is the ruler of the Hub Network, a consistent aspect over Jhiaxus is he is an egotistical renegade of a Transformer who decided to form his own empire in hopes of cyberforming the entire universe for him to control.

What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]

  • While he does look back to his past as a sadistic Decepticon in shame, it was due to him deeming the Autobots and Decepticons evolutionary throwbacks beneath him than out of remorse.
  • While Transformers created through the process of budding are in general more sociopathic than average, Jhiaxus proves himself to simply be willfully evil, having repressed his sadistic urges to be an icy control freak deluding himself to be a reasonable man, and then eventually embraces himself for who he truly is by the end of the series.
  • As chief commander of the Cybertronian Empire's forces, Jhiaxus leads the empire into expansion through means of genocide, cyberforming all planets that can be found to be replicas of Cyberton, and if already supporting life, has them all wiped out, with Jhiaxus having no second thoughts on such acts due to deeming them inferior beings.
  • In the beginning of the series, has about 17 planets wiped out and terraformed, and when negotiating with Optimus, remains unapologetic towards it.
  • Tired of the Autobots' constant interference, unleashes his army to all known corners of the universe to purge it of all non-Transformer life, seeing civilizations wiped out, in hopes of luring them out to a trap and exterminate them all.
  • When Optimus desperatelypleads for him to listen to reason due to the oncoming threat of the Swarm, Jhiaxus responds by spitefully ordering San Francisco's destruction.
  • Attempts to have Earth destroyed despite knowing several of his own men are still present there.
  • Has his fleet attack the Swarm, and crushes one of his men's heads for suggesting a tactical retreat when he sees chunks of it wiped out to show no matter what, the assault continues.
  • Embracing his sadism, he tears Optimus apart and rips out his mouth as he blames him for his empire's fall.

  • Shuns the creator of his species and the setting's version of God, Primus, due to believing he is as infallible as everyone else and through his vast intellect, believes himself to be a superior visionary.
  • Refusing to meekly bow his head and bottle up his boundless intellect to the Underbase, Jhiaxus slays the avatars of the rest of the Brain Trust, the smartest minds on Cybertron, so that he can purge himself from their memories and all records on Cybertron and downloading the very blueprint of life itself to build up his vast empire.
  • In the millions of years he was gone from Cybertron, he builds his entire galactic empire, the Hub Network, built entirely on genocide as he wipes out all the planets he comes across with life so that he can mechaform them into a series of interconnected technospheres only he can control. When he is confronted by Rodimus for this, Jhiaxus callously dismisses the notion that all the beings he wiped out can be considered life, to which Rodimus calls him out for the delusional madman that he is out of disgust.
  • Sends out Rook to scout all life on Cresta Superior as another target for his genocidal conquests. When he realizes Bludgeon beat him to the chase in purging it of life, he decides its about time to target Cybertron.
  • While Jhiaxus is willing to negotiate, it is only so Rodimus Prime will not be a problem in which anyway will be in his terms, as he notes that if he surrenders, only select few he personally deems worthy will be living as he reformats them and erases their identities to be one with his empire, and that no matter what, te rest will be executed due to them having been "tainted" by outsider technology and thus he cannot bring them to control.
  • Has his minions slaughter all the Primordials for not fitting with Jhiaxus' criteria of life.
  • Has Joyride, Sky High, Crosshairs, and Brainstorm executed and threatening to kill even more to force Rodimus into complying with his order to call off the recker's attack.
  • Threatens the life of Rook when eh gets frustrated with the chaos, showing even his own creations aren't safe from his wrath.
  • Ultimately seeks to expand his empire and make the entire universe his domain in his self-serving quest for order, mechaforming all planets he could find regardless of them having life or not.
  • While he claims himself to be a well-intentioned man wanting to instill order to a very chaotic universe, it becomes more clear that he is just simply a megalomaniac wanting to play god, trying to reformat the entire universe to a mere extension of himself that only he can control to stroke his ego.
