What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Attempted to wage war against humans.
- Killed Nicodemus by causing the Brisby house to fall on him, which nearly lead to the deaths of Mrs. Brisby's children and Auntie Shrew as well.
- While Nicodemus admittedly was more or less planning to evict everyone from the bush (even if he did arrange for the Brisby house to be moved), he shows no remorse when he discovers that Nicodemus' reason for having them leave the bush was a strong one. And he did enjoy the prospect of crushing Nicodemus' bones.
- Speaking of moving the Brisby house, he only helped Mrs. Brisby so he could kill Nicodemus with it.
- Attempted to kill Mrs. Brisby to steal the Amulet stone from her.
- Mortally wounded Sullivan for refusing to follow his plans.
- After Justin stabs and leaves him incapacitated, Jenner still tries to kill him by attacking him from behind while he's announcing to the other rats that they should resume their plan to leave for Thorn Valley and his guard is down.
Trivia[]
- In the original novel, Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH and its sequel Rasco and the Rats of NIMH, Jenner is not Pure Evil. Although he does betray Nicodemus, Jenner instead chooses to stay behind on a human farm. It is later heard that he survived an electrocution at a hardware store. In the sequel, Jenner recovers from the accident, gets married and has two children, with his son Rasco being the main character. Jenner is depicted as a strict but loving father, and dies while rescuing his son.
- Jenner is, alongside Warren T. Rat, Sharptooth, Rasputin and Preed, one of the five Don Bluth villains to be Pure Evil.
