Janos, also known as The Prince, is the main antagonist of the Argentinian indie fighting game The Black Heart.
He is the ruthless monarch of a dimension known as The Other World, position that he took after murdering his own father, The King. Using the humongous powers emanating from his father's heart, Janos seeks to conquer all dimensions through war and bloodshed, and is willing to sacrifice everything in his will to fulfill his means.
What makes him Pure Evil?[]
- Killed his own father (a powerful being known as the King of the Other World) and ripped his heart out of his chest just to get his powers.
- It is revealed in the Steam release of the game that he also killed his uncle years prior, who was a powerful being just like his father, and used his skin to create his cloak of shadows.
- When the heart got stolen by an eldritch being known as Final (in order to protect it from Janos), he framed him for the murder of his father.
- Used his position in power to re-conquer the lands his father shared out through warfare, leaving countless innocent deaths in the process.
- The blood that poured from all the bodies left in his genocidal crusades was so many that the rivers and the sky from the Other World turned red, transforming the land in a deserted wasteland where nothing can grow no more.
- He ended up discovering a dimension known as the Chaos, where he captured and enslaved the creatures that resided in there. He twisted their minds to become obedient, and bended their bodies to transform in nothing more than mindless killing machines. He called these creatures Shar-Makais, and used them as his new foot soldiers. It is later revealed that these were Final's siblings.
- Manipulated his daughters into believing he was doing the right thing and that Final was the one to blame for the death of the King.
- When Ananzi, one of his oldest daughters, discovered the truth behind the King's death, she got brutally murdered by him and showed no remorse while doing so, remarking she outlived her usefulness and that she was a necessary loss for his means.
- He was given more characterization in the Steam edition of the game, where he shows a bit of care for Ananzi. But even with his, he still killed her and showed no remorse while doing so, only giving her a bit more of respect towards her death (remarking how her death was on her hands and not his).
- Killed Final and retrieved the Black Heart, planning to use it to conquer other dimensions.
- Got away with every single of his goals and received no punishment whatsoever for his crimes.
