James Caddock is one of two main antagonists (alongside Talen) of the 2019 horror movie The Car: Road to Revenge. He was a persecutor that came into ownership of an encrypted data chip that contained evidence of The Night's crimes. Talen, not wanting to be exposed, sent his employees to go kill Caddock. But unbeknownst to him, Caddock would possess his car and use it to take revenge.
He was portrayed by Jamie Bamber while alive.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He was shown to be an awful person even before being killed by The Night, as he was an emotionally abusive boyfriend to Daria and had no issue trying to intimidate her and even attempted to grab her leg during their car ride together.
- He had numerous criminals sentenced to execution, where they were surrounded by a glass cylinder that would cause their head to explode right in front of the court.
- To make this even worse, it's repeatedly stated he fully supports this execution system, uncaring that numerous people could be traumatised by witnessing this.
- After being killed by Talen's men, he possessed his car and ran over a random junkyard worker for no reason while exiting the junkyard.
- He stalked Daria and went as far as to kill one of Talen's worker right in front of her, and scare her by rolling down his windows to reveal no one inside the car.
- After becoming aware of Detective Rainer and Daria's romantic relationship, he attempted to chase down Rainer and kill him, with Rainer only narrowly being able to survive.
- During a chase with Talen's men, he brutally killed two police officers, and while they deserved it for working with Talen, Caddock had no idea of this.
- After being fixed by an elderly mechanic, he ran him over despite the mechanic having helped him.
- He then immediately went to find Rainer, hitting and presumably killing four people in the process.
- He followed Rainer into a strip club where he'd proceed to run over and kill numerous people in order to follow Rainer.
- He chased Daria and Rainer around outside in an attempt to kill them both.
- He managed to kidnap Daria from off a stretcher and attempted to drive off a cliff with her, with him making it clear it's because he wants to control her forever.
- The movie ends with the headlights of his car turning on one last time from the bottom of the ocean, implying he isn't done yet and will come back for revenge against Daria and Rainer.
