~ The Jabberwocky to Alice Kingsleigh. |
The Jabberwock is the overarching antagonist of Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland duology.
He is a demonic black dragon who rules over all that's evil in Underland, being known for terrorizing anyone he comes across. The Jabberwocky serves the Red Queen, being practically the reason no one opposes her until Alice Kingsleigh's return to the realm.
He was voiced by the late Sir Christopher Lee, who also played Count Dracula in the Hammer Dracula films and Saruman in the Middle-earth film series.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Under the Red Queen's orders, he massacred the White Queen's army during Horunvendush Day, mercilessly burning everything and permitting the Knave of Hearts and the Red Knights to take the vorpal sword that can destroy him away.
- During the massacre, all of the Hightopp Clan, the family of Tarrant Hightopp (later known as the Mad Hatter), was kidnapped, shrunken down into a miniscule side and imprisoned in a glass jar for years, with Tarrant believing that his family had died and living with that belief for years.
- Arrives at the huge chess table where Alice Kingsleigh, the Hatter, the White Queen and their forces challenge the Red Queen and her forces to fight with the intentions to slaughter everyone, taunting Alice over her insignificance due to a prophecy that claims she will slay him before trying to kill her in the battle.
- His death finally allowed the Red Queen to lose her power as her Red Knights were able to turn on her and her Knave, proving that they didn't dare to do it before due to fear of being threatened by the Jabberwocky.
- Although the Red Queen cares for him, treating him as her "pet", there's nothing that proves that the Jabberwocky cares for her in return.
