ll Carnefice (The Executioner) is a minor antagonist in the 2010 video game Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. He is an executor Cesare Borgia so that he could execute any of Cesare's "problems" or people Cesare disliked until his death at the hands of Ezio Auditore Da Firenze.

What Makes Him Pure Evil?

• He decided to become a personal executioner to Cesare Borgia, not because he cared for Cesare wanting people to be executed, but he did it because he thought executing people was fun.
• When Cesare hands a list of people he wants condemned to death, ll Carnefice makes a joke about Fiora Cavazza, who was an ally to Cesare being on his execution list but then revealed he was pranking her as he was unable to read, just so he could see the terrified look on her face.
• His execution methods were brutal, with him slowly chopping off body parts of his victims, torturing them in the process, and then revealing them to his equally as sadistic audience.
• He raped a woman named Livia, then had her hanged to prevent the truth of his sexual assault from coming out, and when the grieving husband mourned her death by her body, he ordered his men to take the husband to jail after he wanted to remove his wife's body from the noose but couldn't as ll Carnefice threatened him to be executed too. The husband still continued to mourn her death anyway despite the threat so Carnefice ordered the man to be arrested and taken to jail.
• His actions were so detestable that Ezio decided to help the grieving husband from getting sent to prison, and after hearing his story, Ezio told the man to get his wife's body down when he feels like it and that he would take down Carnefice and end his executions.
• Despite being a one-shot villain, he stands out with his unique crimes along with the sheer brutality of his crimes considering his relatively low resources.
