“ | Now, now. I never said that you were a bad person either. Taking life is just part of being human. We cut down vegetation, kill bugs, cook meat…There’s just no way to get through life without killing. But what pisses me off…is when someone who eats vegetables says that we shouldn’t eat meat. And when someone who eats meat says we shouldn’t eat dogs. And when someone who eats dogs says we that we shouldn’t kill other people. It’s such bullshit. Why is it okay to take one life and not another? Who gets to decide which life is okay to take and which is not? Who died and made them king? Why am I the only one that’s considered immoral? | „ |
~ Hyeseon Kim explaining her viewpoint of the world |
Hyeseon Kim is one of the two main antagonists (alongside Junho Park) of the survival horror Korean Web-Manwha Forest of Humans, created by Junho Hwang.
A sociopathic spree killer placed on death row, she and 9 other convicts were picked for a private expirement in an abandoned facility in order to expirement on them before getting executed. However, Hyeseon shows to be the most intelligent and dangerous of them, and orchestrated a prison break to free all the prisoners and escape, while hunting down the survivor Ru Ha.
What Makes Her Pure Evil?[]
- A sociopath who deems herself free of societal restrictions, Hyeseon Kim went on a murder spree that killed 8 people, including her parents while she drank their blood. In another specific circumstance, she recalls a time where she found a random child on a bus stop before murdering them in cold blood.
- When being in the facility, Hyeseon takes advantage of a perverted Doctor Woo in order to rips his eyes out before killing him and bashes another researcher skull in, stealing his keys and proceeding to let off every prisoner, except Gihwan Kang, and slaughtered the entire facility staff.
- While she chooses not to free Gihwan, it’s merely out of pragmatism in order to ensure he doesn’t kill them all.
- When hunting down and catching Ru Ha, she ultimately agrees to her being tortured to death by Jaejun and Bohyeon.
- Joins together with Junho Park in their goals of wiping out all of the prisoners, successfully killing Giwung Kim with a syringe of posing as they plan to kill the rest and break out to continue their murder sprees together.
- After escaping the facility and killing a homeowner to squat at their house, Hyeseon orchestrates and leads her plot to kill Ru Ha, slowly isolating her and stalking her before luring and murdering her fiancé and then her father, simply to psychologically torment Ru Ha.
- Confronting Ru Ha in her apartment after she dispatched of Junho, Ru Ha brutally beats and stabs Ru Ha as she plants the knife on Junho, planning to frame him as the sole perpetrator as she plans to be free of all her crimes.
- Despite her psychopathic nature, Hyeseon is extremely intelligent and is completely aware of her actions, and commits crimes out of her own self centered viewpoint of morality, and her own vanity.
- While in a relationship with Junho Park, it was shown to be out of mutual sadism and Hyeseon quickly forges a plot to frame and betray Junho for everything, showing she was simply manipulating him to help further her own goals.
- Despite the heinous standard, Hyeseon manages to clear it as she kickstarts the plot by breaking out all the convicts and shows to be the most personally cruel to Ru Ha, psychologically tormenting her as she killed her father and fiancé
