Herod Sayle (Darrius Sayle in the 2006 film adaptation) is the main antagonist of Stormbreaker, the first book in the Anthony Horowitz series Alex Rider.
In the film adaptation, he was portrayed by Mickey Rourke.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Plans to kill all the schoolchildren in Britain by distributing Stormbreaker computers containing the R-5 pathogen and trick the Prime Minister into releasing the R-5 in order to get revenge on him for bullying him at school.
- Has Ian Rider killed for discovering his plan.
- Attempts to kill Alex Rider, the fourteen-year-old protagonist, by throwing him in a fish tank with a highly poisonous Man-O'-War jellyfish after he discovers his plan.
- Abducts Alex and plans to murder him after his plan is foiled.
- His excuse that he was bullied at school does not even come close to justifying his actions.
