Like it? It's genuine lawyer.
~ Helga Von Guggen to Sam, Clover and Alex about her fur coats.

Helga Von Guggen is a supporting antagonist in Totally Spies!. She is a rogue fashion designer that runs a business of mutating humans into wild animals to make clothing out of them.

She was voiced by Adrienne Barbeau.

What Makes Her Pure Evil?[]

  • Ran a fashion business by mutating humans into wild animals by using serum, skinning them alive to create "furlings" out of them and to make money.
  • As mentioned in a quote above, she made a fur coat from her lawyer, thus confirming her murder.
  • Commanded Trode to get rid of the Spies by using a serum dart, only managing to mutate Clover into a catgirl.
  • Captured the spies and attempted to mutate Sam and Alex by giving them an overdose of serum while Clover was trapped in a capsule being used as an experiment.
  • When her henchmen capture Sam and Alex, she attempts to kill them by using her Automated Coat Machine.
  • Broke out of prison attempting to get revenge on the fashion world by starting to run a new fashion business called Mystique. Anyone wearing her Mystique clothing would never be able to remove it and will be crushed.
  • While she revealed herself as Mystique, she attempted to get revenge on her former fans and the Spies by squashing them to death with her clothing.
  • Never truly cared about Trode only seeing him as a right-hand and presumably disposed him due to his incompetence.
  • Teams up with LAMOS to get revenge on WOOHP after her fashion line went under decline twice. However, it was done out of pragmatism rather than true loyalty.
  • Disguised herself as a jewelry saleswoman and created bracelets to erase Sam, Clover, Alex and WOOHP agents' memories as spies, making them defenseless in combat.
  • While she has few funny moments in the show (like her head swelling after eating shellfish she was allergic to), she is taken seriously in-universe.
  • Unlike any other villains in the show, Helga lacks any redeeming qualities.

Trivia[]

  • Helga is the only Totally Spies! villain to be Pure Evil.
