Goenitz is the main antagonist from the video game The King of Fighters '96.
He was voiced by Yoshinori Shima and is currently voiced by Susumu Akagi.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Brainwashed Leona into slaughtering her family by making her tap into the Riot of the Blood after Gaidel refused to help the priest revive Orochi.
- Despite being a member of the Hakkeshu, he doesn't attend the Orochi revival in person, and prefers to work alone in his quest to end humanity once and for all.
- As a teenager, he killed a 10-year old Maki Kagura in order to unseal the Orochi.
- Destroyed the stadium where Chizuru hosts the KOF to quicken the destruction of humanity.
- Allowed Rugal to rule the world after installing a bionic eye on the crime lord.
- Puts up a polite front in order to mind rape the heroes just to brag and mock them for their incompetence.
- In a playthrough of any other team that is not the Sacred Treasures Team, he pretends to be weak so he can kill himself by the power of the wind.
- In a playthrough of the Sacred Treasures Team, he instead refuses to acknowledge his defeat and suffers a breakdown as to why the wind isn't blowing before dying at the hands of Kyo, Iori, and Chizuru.
Trivia[]
- Along with Rugal Bernstein and Clone Zero, Goenitz is one of the three villains from the King of Fighters series who are considered pure evil.
