Ghetsis is an antagonist of the Pokémon Generations web video series and the main antagonist of the 13th to the 15th episodes. He manages to be a darker version of his main counterpart.
He is voiced by Shō Hayami in the Japanese version, who also voiced Sōsuke Aizen from Bleach, and by Patrick Seitz in the English dub, who also voiced Dio Brando in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Dante Zogratis in Black Clover and Overlord from Transformers: Prime Wars.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Being the leader of Team Plasma, whose goal is world domination through manipulation and conquest of humanity. In order to achieve his ideal world, Ghetsis is responsible for multiple attacks in Unova.
- Sends his highest-ranking officers, the Seven Sages, in order to destroy the Unova Pokemon League.
- Starts an attack on Opelucid City, firing frozen missiles that freeze the city, attacking both buildings and citizens, using Liepards to fire destructive beams and causing chaos across the city. But this time, unlike in the games, the process of the city being frozen is being shown on-screen.
- Has Team Plasma's airship flies over the city in order to fire its Kyurem-powered freeze cannon over the city, with one of the sages demanding Drayden to hand over the DNA splicer.
- When N discusses how he is making everyone suffer and he should live with Pokemon and humans in harmony, Ghetsis refuses to agree, calling him a monster that does not deserve to speak human language, and instantly orders Kyurem to kill N with Ice Burn.
Trivia[]
- Only this version of Ghetsis qualifies as Pure Evil, as his video game version fails the in-story standards due to his worst act of freezing Opelucid City being Fridge Horror as the process of the city being frozen was not shown on-screen there.
