General Krang is the overarching antagonist in the 2019 BOOM! Studios/IDW crossover comic series, Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He serves as the unseen overarching antagonist in the first crossover and later as the main antagonist in the second crossover.
He is an alien warlord who has successfully annihilated Dimension X's Earth and Power Rangers, who were this dimension's Turtles, with intentions of taking over the original Earth of both the Rangers and the Turtles. He was the (former) ally of the Shredder, with whom he shared information of the Power Rangers' existence, and later betrayed him in favor of Rita Repulsa.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He was responsible for destroying the Earth of Dimension X, which was implied that he used his war machine throughout his attack to the point Earth became a barren wasteland where there isn't a single person out there.
- Killed Dimension X's Power Rangers (the possible variants of the Ninja Turtles) and kept their morphers as trophies.
- He gave out the Shredder information about the Power Rangers' existence in exchange for a new body. This makes Krang indirectly responsible for Shredder's actions of stealing Tommy's Power Coin, becoming the Green Ranger, severing the Rangers' ability to transform, and wreaking havoc around New York.
- He replaced Shredder with Rita Repulsa upon forming an alliance with her in spite of the former's help and giving him a new body upon keeping his word.
- Tortured Casey Jones and forced him to submit any loyalty to him, even turning him into Ranger X.
- He jailbreaks the entire rogue gallery of the Turtles' enemies (e.g. Leatherhead, Slash, and Baxter Stockman) to have them join his forces. When one of them, Karai, refused out of loyalty to the Shredder, he had her imprisoned instead.
- Sent Rita and their forces into wreaking havoc on New York City, causing mass destruction and potentially making casualties during the attack.
- He sent Casey/Ranger X, Scorpina, Bebop, and Stockman to infiltrate the Command Center to steal the power node, rendering the Rangers' abilities to morph, and later took over it.
- Following his attack on New York City, he later spread it onto Angel Grove for the next three days, likely endangering innocent people.
- He has captured and enslaved possibly hundreds to thousands of people from his attacks to help him dismantle the Zords and modify them into his new Megazord bodysuit.
- As explained through Rita, Krang had plotted to expand his invasion on not only Angel Grove and New York City but also lead his forces into attacking even larger cities like Shanghai, London, and Mexico City until they surrendered to him and conquer the whole world.
- Ordered Rita Repulsa to "take care" of Casey, which she brainwashed him and forced him to fight the Turtles, his dear allies.
- While originally planning to take over the Earth, Krang decided to destroy it just like what he did in Dimension X to its "extinction" out of spiteful sadism.
- Although Casey pointed out he could've taken over other worlds than just Earth, Krang stated that it would take eons for that to happen since Earth is still primitive and claims that Earth is in need of a "leader" to help advance it. This doesn't make him an extremist given his delusional motive of conquering the Earth and later trying to destroy it like what happened in Dimension X sums up his claim.
- His alliance with Rita Repulsa is purely superficial and only worked with her since she seemed more useful than the Shredder, which he betrayed him in favor of the former despite the latter giving him a bodysuit in return.
