What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- 3,000 years ago, he and his brothers sought to conquer the world leaving trails of destruction in their wake. They would invade a kingdom, killing many and tried to harness the power of the Stars of Kicaan.
- He and the other generals were turned to stone as a consequence, releasing thirteen monsters who would decimate their armies and the entire kingdom with no survivors save for Yaotl himself who becomes immortal.
- As shown in a tie-in comic, while trapped as a stone statue, he would be discovered by a tribe who would worship him and kill off another tribe as a sacrifice to him.
- In the modern day, his cult would kill off April's crew and attempt to sacrifice her, while a government official would leave the government he works for and massacre the cult and take the statue for himself. It's heavily implied Aguila has influenced over them, as his cult believed he is a deity who holds power and those who come across him become obsessed with him and guarding him.
- In the film, he would be reawakened by Yaotl, now Max Winters in the modern era, and aids him in capturing 12 monsters. While Yaotl wants to atone for his crimes and undo the damage he causes, Aguila holds no such feeling and betrays Yaotl. Wanting to remain immortal forever and rule the world for himself.
- He convinces the other generals to betray their brother, sabotaging his efforts by kidnapping Leonardo and disguise him as the thirteenth monster.
- He reveals his plan of leaving the portal open, so he could summon an army of monsters for him to rein utter devastation and death upon the Earth and rule what's left for himself. It's made very explicit that this would lead to countless death and destruction across the globe, as the first time the monsters were summoned left a trail of bodies and devastation killing off a whole army and a kingdom.
- Donatello even states they'll lose the city and soon the planet to these dangerous monsters, with Yaotl confirming the world will be lost if Aguila isn't stopped.
- Plans to trap Yaotl in the portal and be stuck in another dimension for the rest of his life so he won't interfere with his hegemonic plans.
- He holds no true familial care for his brothers and sister unlike Yaotl, who tries to bring them back and remove the immortal curse inflicted upon them. Aguila and the generals only share a love for battle and a hunger for power, not caring what suffering their brother Yaotl went through as an immortal over the past 3,000 years. He doesn't show any hesitation in betraying his brother and trying to trap him in another dimension for eternity. At best, Aguila saw them as mere partners-in-crimes than holding any genuine love for them.
- While he offers both the Foot Clan and Raphael to join him, the latter he admits has good skills, it's merely for pragmatic reasons and not out of genuine mercy or honor. He seeks to have them demand servitude and loyalty to him and saw Raph's skills useful to him in his conquest.
Trivia[]
- So far, he is the only TMNT Pure Evil to come from an animated theatrical film and not from a made for TV movie or DVD release, nor a live action film.
