Galactus is a minor villain in Absolution, specifically the Mini RP Absolution’s What If? in the episode What if Nyarlathotep never existed?. He is a human from before time who wishes to consume Earth, taking Nyarlathotep’s place as god of evil.
He is portrayed by NotSussyBaka900, also known as "Calvin and Hobbes is Pretty Good ngl" on YouTube.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Threatens to kill Mason if he doesn’t deliver him gold.
- Chooses Earth to be his food, promising no survivors.
- Flicks Silver Surfer to Jupiter because he was boring him.
- Eats Earth, killing everybody on it and absorbing all its energy.
- Is unsympathetic and only does this to satisfy his hunger, unlike main universe Galactus.
- While he is implied to be the god of evil, nothing in the episode states he lacks a moral agency.
- Although he has some comedic moments, these are either minor or forgotten about and either way don’t detract from his villainy.
- He did send Surfer to warn the humans, though his reaction to their response means this was likely to watch them cower out of sadism.
- Although both Silver Surfer and Mason were spared, Galactus points out earlier that they are only there to give him gold and help with destroying planets and that he would gladly kill them otherwise.
Trivia[]
- He is the only version of Galactus to be Pure Evil.
- He is the only Absolution Pure Evil, as Nyarlathotep’s arc is still ongoing.
- His Main Universe counterpart does not qualify as Pure Evil as that version is heroic and on the side of good, along with being way too comedic.
